Dr. Tobias Kiesling

Tobias Kiesling is Head of OT Security at Airbus CyberSecurity in Taufkirchen near Munich since November 2017. Tobias has focused on cyber security strategy, technology, portfolio and business development since almost ten years before shifting to a more operational focus in his current position. His education includes a diploma in Computer Science and Statistics from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich and a Ph.D. in the area of Modelling and Simulation at the University of the German Federal Armed Forces Munich. After a postdoctoral stay at the International Computer Science Institute in Berkeley, California, where he was doing research on network security monitoring, his earlier professional career included positions as software engineer, researcher and analyst. Tobias was and is active in various networks, working groups and associations on German national and EU level.
